CUNNING CAR TAX EVADERS
Police are teaming up with the DVLA to clamp down on car tax evasion in Hampshire. It is estimated that untaxed vehicles cost taxpayers £79 million a year throughout the UK and are often linked to other criminal activity or road safety issues. The vehicles themselves are less likely to be roadworthy and 80 per cent of them have no insurance.
Hampshire Police have warned tax evaders who flout the law and disregard the rules of the road will be caught and harshly dealt with.

good stuff. Have/has is tricky with the police. Strictly Hampshire policeforce IS… A couple of police officers ARE. Plural agreement, v tricky issue has to be thought about a lot. See BBC style guide everyone on this tricky issue.
